About RIOLAB Interoperability Testing Lab Sponsors News
Upon completion of all testing, RIOLAB will provide customers with a comprehensive results document that clearly explains the process used, the findings and the overall conclusion. The document will include a Test Set-up Report detailing the hardware and software used and any other environmental factors; copies of the Test Scripts used in the analysis, and a Test Summary in matrix format showing tests vs. devices tested.

A detailed, formal Test Report includes a Test Checklist reporting the device under test's performance against the checklist items for the DI and SC level being tested, as well as Register Report, Routing Table and Processing Element reports. In addition, Interoperability Reports will be included based on the number of qualified components being tested against for each phase of testing.

All results and reports are owned jointly by RIOLAB and the customer who paid for the tests. All results are retained in the secure RIOLAB database for future reference. Once a customer's RIOLAB achievements have been made public, reports are made available - see links below.

Caution: It is important to note that each report can also include observations and device behaviors which do affect interoperability but may lie outside the specific checklists tested against. Therefore it is advised that the report content be used - and not just a score summary - when comparing like devices. Also devices, depending upon the features they support, may be tested across a wider set of criteria. Each report explicitly identifies each checklist criteria tested against and their specific results to facilitate feature and function comparison. In some cases, a device with a lower score may be a better choice depending upon which checklist test case failed the nature of the failure, and/or the nature of your requirements.
